|Our trip to Scotland in April not only incorporated a holiday but also a weekend of workshops run by Steve. In conjunction with Perthshire Gundog Rescue and with a contribution to this very worthwhile charity, Steve held 2 workshops over 2 days. We were delighted that both days were full and were attended by some very keen and friendly participants.
|As purely a spectator it was a chance for me to devour some novels in the peace and quiet of the location whilst workshop members were put through their paces by Steve LOL. The dogs that would prove to be such good photographic models were supplied by Carol, David and Charlie and provided some fantastic photo opportunities for course members and for Steve himself. Kindly providing lunch and drinks I know Carol looked after participants well throughout both days and we are both very grateful to her for her and David's hospitality.|
|During the 2 days of workshops Steve was able to cover a wide range of subjects including developing a better understanding for each member of their own cameras, learning about exposure control especially when photographing black dogs (the lovely Otter) and using the wonderful setting of the Perthshire countryside to teach participants about composition. It was great to see and experience a happy buzz around course members both before and after the workshop and subsequent feedback Steve has received has assured us that the days were definitely well received and more will be organised.|
