Well, its been a few weeks since our 4 days in Yorkshire at the CLA Game Fair came to an end and its been a busy period in between. However I'll first take you back to Harewood House where for the first time in a few years the Game Fair took place. I can definitely say I won't be trusting weather forecasts anymore after a promised weekend of fine, dry weather turned into a mud bath LOL. I certainly hadn't prepared for such conditions and my sandals were obviously not up to the job! However every cloud and all that, I managed to get a new pair of boots out of Steve ;-) so its not all doom and gloom. Anyway back to the actual Game Fair and it was a really enjoyable weekend meeting people who follow our page on Facebook and who enjoy Steve's work so much. Its always a proud moment for me when people are so complimentary about Steve's talents, it certainly makes all the bad times worth going through so thank you to anyone who came onto the stand to look at Steve's work. Being in the Falconry area was also enjoyable with the weathering for the birds of prey being right next to us, it was nice to watch the displays and learn lots of facts about the various species.
As regards the location of Harewood House we were both really impressed with the organisation and despite the mud and periods of torrential rain everyone involved handled it all very well....and I think my sandals have just about dried out!
