We will be using training ground locations in Northamptonshire and Perthshire which offer us an old railway line, woodland and rolling hills as well as an equestrian centre in Surrey. The training grounds have a variety of different types of cover and lend themselves well to all sorts of exercise for the dogs. A selection of props will be used to create a finished image.

My workshops usually run from 10.30am until 4.30pm with a break for lunch. Participants will be limited, and the workshop will be tailored to them and run in a relaxed and informative way with as much time as possible spent out with the dogs. Tuition and guidance will be given to each individual member if needed as the day progresses. Skilled and very knowledgeable trainers will be on hand to work with the dogs to give us the best possible images from the day. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have regarding them.

LOCATION - Workshops are held in private locations which provide excellent opportunities for photography.

NUMBER OF COURSE MEMBERS - The workshops are to be kept to a size where all participants will have the opportunity to learn, i.e. a maximum of ten and a minimum of six. (Workshops will only run if we have six or more members)

Group bookings are available. If you are a camera club, college or just a group of photographers wishing to have a great day’s photography in an environment which lends itself to enjoyment and good images then Steve will tailor the day to you.

SKILL LEVELS - The workshops are designed to provide for all skill levels and knowledge, for the beginner Steve will be on hand to guide you through equipment, exposure, and composition. All participants will experience photography in a relaxed and informative way.

CAMERA EQUIPMENT – Steve will help you to get the most out of the equipment you have. As a guide, a digital camera with interchangeable lenses would be best along with any lenses you have ranging from a wide angle through to 300mm or larger telephoto. A tripod and flash gun would also be useful.
